Have a Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

It's Thanksgiving, and turkeys are in the oven all across America as families congregate for a special day of thanks. Taking the day off here, so no "News on the run" today, but did want to stop in and wish all of our readers a Blessed and Joyous Thanksgiving.

*Special Note...saw an article where Michele Obama would like to see thanks coming in from all over America to our troops in harms way. Please take a moment to visit this link and leave them a special Thanksgiving Thank You for serving our country.

Pumpkin Pies Are In The Oven

Is there anything that smells as nice as fresh pies baking in the oven? Have two pumpkin pies in the oven now, and the apartment smells like the holidays. Two pies are more than enough, but really thinking Thanksgiving is not Thanksgiving if I do not bake at least one pecan pie before tomorrow morning. Can already feel my waist line bulging just from the anticipation of Turkey Day dinner.

For those traveling, please drive carefully as the weather in some parts of the country is supposed to be rough. If you are flying, just remember...be careful, patient, and take the flight delays with as much grace as you can muster.

Everyone have a Joyous and Happy Thanksgiving.
