BREAKING NEWS...Ill Bred Over Zealous Chicago Thugs (Police) Beat Crowd of Legal Protesters At Nato Summit

Ill bred, over zealous thugs (Policemen) in full riot gear are on CNN BEATING INNOCENT PROTESTERS as they protest at the Nato Summit.  This is disgusting...we live in America, and Americans have the right to PEACEFUL PROTEST....apparently, slovenly pigs (yes, and old term) in full COMBAT GEAR (riot gear on steroids...as in officers looking to start a war against the people) don't want that right being exercised in Chicago Illinois.  A vast army of uniformed thugs using gestapo like tactics reminiscent of the brute force being deployed in Syria by the government there and it's dictator president, the Chicago Police have corralled protesters,  have been BEATING THEM SEVERELY with very long billy clubs.

Wake up citizens of Chicago...go down and defend your fellow citizens, use overwhelming numbers of humanity to shut down the streets, and force the police to retreat.  It is time for Spring in America, time that police departments, and local governments learn that "We the People" will no longer tolerate their brutal tactics being deployed to keep us in line, to deny us our basic "First Amendment Rights".

Stop watching this violence in Chicago, and do something to stop it!  Get a backbone citizens, and stop allowing well armed thugs in full COMBAT GEAR to use overwhelming force against our citizens.  our government does not want to see the protesters, nor do the leaders at the summit...that is why Obama and the rest of the leaders from NATO are in a walled in fortress, why protesters are being kept blocks away...well, a mass of humanity, just like in Germany can TAKE DOWN THAT WALL, and march on the summit so that the voice of the people can be heard...but that means average citizens giving up their apathy, and joining forces with those still brave enough to exercise their first amendment rights...peaceful protest should not be coral-ed, nor should protesters be kept from protesting UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL right out in front of the building where the summit is being hosted.

Question of The Day...Rose Bowl Parade

So, catching up on the news, and see where the Occupy Movement is going to have a presence of some sort at the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California. The Police Department in Pasadena has been negotiating with people in the movement, trying too get them to agree to march at the VERY END of the parade after all the floats, bands and various other groups have passed along the route, and the media wraps up its coverage.

So, the question..."Should the Occupy Movement accept this offer, or instead hold a full fledged demonstration, try to disrupt the parade?"

I have mixed emotions on this one...as a firm believer in our First Amendment Rights, and because there is very little chance the movement will gain much coverage marching at the end of the parade, I tend to support the idea of a full on protest with tens of thousands of protesters showing up in force. From a sentimental stand point, having watched the parade on TV for decades, kind of hate to think of the day being spoiled for every one in the viewing audience. But, sometimes, social issues of this magnitude have to trump the entertain value of the event.

For those thinking the "Occupy Movement" is over, guess again. In Portland yesterday there was yet again a very tense standoff between over zealous officers of the Portland Police and protesters as the Portland Occupy Movement tried once again to take over another park, tried again to exercise their "First Amendment" rights. The mayor of Portland has decided those rights simply do not exist, stating for the record, "We cannot afford another protest." EXCUSE ME...so, the mayor decides that the police in FULL RIOT GEAR can be dispersed ahead of a protest to BREAK IT UP, that said police can intercede to preempt citizens from practicing their First Amendment?

In another draconian move, the Police Department has taken to creating what amounts to a Black List, doing their best to see those protesters BRANDED, marked with the label of troublemakers by releasing a full list of names and charges to the press.

New York's Finest? Not Exactly...Police Use Excessive Force During PEACEFUL Day of Action

"New York's Finest" showed the world today why some people call police officers pigs. The Occupy Wall Street protesters held a PEACEFUL Day of Action today....problem is, Mayor Bloomberg and the NYPD did not get the memo.

CNN has spent the day filling the airwaves with what can only be classified as government propaganda, spinning out stories that suggest the protesters should realize they are interfering with the lives of their fellow 99'ers. Sad to think the news media who is protected by the First Amendment is suddenly suggesting the First Amendment Rights of protesters should take a back seat to Wall Street making more and more money. Sad that they have not taken some of the video off of You Tube and put it on their evening news where you can clearly see members of the NYPD using excessive force and brutality against INNOCENT AMERICAN CITIZENS who were doing nothing more than exercising their First Amendment Freedoms.

As midnight nears on the Occupy Wall Street Day of Action, there are still thousands of protesters on the Brooklyn Bridge...a perfect end to the day would be to have these protesters at the stroke of midnight flood the bridge, closing it to all vehicular traffic. Let the police spent the rest of the night arresting our citizens, making them disappear in the middle of the night, just like in Syria. As to CNN...you have truly disgusted me today.

America Steps Closer To Open Riots...Portland Oregon Police In Riot Gear Trying to Evict Protesters

On CNN now....Portland Oregon Police in full riot gear are in a stand off as they try to use both force and intimidation to force "Occupy Wall Street" protesters to abandon their public space in one of Portland's parks....hello Portland....have you heard about the First Amendment rights of your citizens? You do not evict people from a open public space because their exercising their First Amendment Rights are an inconvenience to you and your city.

"Portland Mayor Sam Adams vowed the protesters would be forced out, but said the process it would take several days to complete."..."Hello Mr. Mayor...can you say First Amendment Right?"

As more and more cities decide to use brute force to evict citizens exercising their Civil Rights, their right to protest, one has to ponder, should citizens take steps to adequately protect themselves? Over zealous cops on horseback swinging batons, other officers firing teargas into the crowds, as other brutes in riot gear holding shields push and corral these innocent citizens into the hands of other officers who then use force to subdue and arrest innocent citizens for no other reason than they dared to protest dared to seek redress.

As the situation in Portland grows worse, as thugs masquerading as police offices prepare to lay siege to the encampment of peaceful protestors, the question must be asked..."has the time come for these protestors who are exercising their First Amendment rights to remember they also have the Second Amendment right to own and bear arms?" We the people have the right to self defense, the right too defend ourselves with whatever force is necessary to stop the attack. If the police are using water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets to stop people from exercising their rights, is it OK for these people to use whatever force they deem necessary to repel these wrongful attacks on the part of police officers?

No one likes the thought of citizens refusing the direct orders of an officer of the law, but if those orders are unjust, if those orders deny us our rights, a line must be drawn in the sand. Again we are watching live on CNN another city wrongfully attacking an innocent group of protesters, watching as Portland tries to evict innocent citizens from a park...we are watching an American powder key about to explode, and if riots do not start in Portland Oregon on this day, we are going to see them as citizens stand up and say ENOUGH.

"At 5 a.m., Police Lt. Robert King described the situation as a “static position,” but said he was concerned about escalation as daylight approached and demonstrators showed no signs of leaving.

“We are concerned this is moving toward a confrontation with police,” King said."

A word of advice to Mr. King...The Coercion tactics you and your forces are using ARE NOT RECOMMENDED tactics, and they usually backfire. This according to the Army's Civil Disturbance Operations manual linked above for static position.

6:09AM:	Protesters have moved from the intersection of 3rd & madison to the parks
6:02AM:	Police have ordered protesters to leave the streets and move into Chapman Square.
5:47AM:	Trimet is putting up closure signs as 4th and Madison bus stop.
5:31AM:	Spotlights are turned off now
5:09AM:	Police motorcycles blocking 4th and Madison have left, protesters still thick in intersection at 3rd and Madison. A barricade remains at 3rd and Main, but no police there.
5:07AM:	The cops are still holding position on SW 3rd & Madison and so are the people.
5:07AM:	Police say the parks will not be open at 5am
4:50AM:	Protesters cheering, lining up at 3rd and Madison in front of police, who are now lined up two deep.
4:49AM:	Protester on bullhorn asks everyone to stay til 5:30. "what's one more hour--we seek change indefinitely."
