Is there anything that smells as nice as fresh pies baking in the oven? Have two pumpkin pies in the oven now, and the apartment smells like the holidays. Two pies are more than enough, but really thinking Thanksgiving is not Thanksgiving if I do not bake at least one pecan pie before tomorrow morning. Can already feel my waist line bulging just from the anticipation of Turkey Day dinner.
For those traveling, please drive carefully as the weather in some parts of the country is supposed to be rough. If you are flying, just remember...be careful, patient, and take the flight delays with as much grace as you can muster.
