Sunday "News on the Run" FRACKING on Fareed Zakaria's Global Public Square

As is usual in my apartment, have CNN on, and was surprised to hear that Fareed Zakaria is going to be weighing in on Fracking on this Sunday morning on his show, "Global Public Square". Will be interesting to hear his slant on the subject, so look for an update on his opinions later today.

Going to be another beautiful day with temperatures higher than normal here in Sullivan county. November's average temperatures were higher than the historical norms, and December is following suit, but of course some will still insist that Global Warming is a figment of our collective imaginations.
Sunday's "News on the Run"

Big news out of last night's Republican debate...Mitt Romney offers up a $10,000 bet, and Governor Rick Perry to chicken to take him up on it. Serious question..."When is the rest of America going to wake up and stop letting Iowa be the center of the political universe here in America?"

DURBAN, South Africa
...194 nations reach LANDMARK DEAL on Climate Change!...not so fast there folks...all they did was agree to start negotiations on a new accord that would ensure that countries will be legally bound to carry out any pledges they make. So agreeing to begin negotiations on a new accord is a LANDMARK DEAL...I don't think so.

In Nuclear News
...much fuss about nothing as NRC commission attacks it's leader. Fact is, the NRC has been OWNED by the nuclear industry for DECADES.

Everyone enjoy this beautiful Sunday, and I'll check in later in the day.
